About Repairs.company
A directory of repair businesses across the United States, organized by what they fix and the towns they serve.
Repairs.company is a directory of repair businesses across the United States, organized by what they fix and the towns they serve. If your dryer has stopped heating or your phone screen has cracked, it helps you find the businesses that handle that kind of repair in your town, so you can get in touch with one directly.
What we do, and what we don't
Repairs.company is only a directory. We don't do repairs, set prices, take bookings or handle payments between customers and businesses, and we don't guarantee any business listed here. You contact a business yourself, using the phone number or website on its listing, and there's no booking fee. Whatever you agree with a business is between you and that business.
How the directory is organized
There are 40 kinds of repair, from appliance repair and HVAC repair to shoe repair and well pump repair. Each one has its own specialties. Appliance repair, for example, covers refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and more.
Towns have their own pages, and each town has a page for each kind of repair, such as dryer repair in that town. To get there, search from the homepage with what needs fixing and your ZIP or town, use Find, or browse by state from Locations.
How listings are ordered
Businesses on a paid plan are listed first, each with a visible label naming its plan. Everyone else follows, ordered by distance from the town and then by rating. Nobody can pay to change a review or a rating. The full explanation is in How listings are ordered.
For repair businesses
Listing a repair business is free. Create a business account at /register/business, then fill in your listing and the area you serve. A person reviews each new listing before it appears. Optional monthly plans place a listing higher on the pages it appears on; see Plans and pricing.
A "Verified" label means the business pays for our Verified plan. It is not a check of licenses, insurance, certifications or the quality of anyone's work.
Where our place data comes from
Place names and locations come from the U.S. Census Bureau and from GeoNames, whose data is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0).
