Changing or canceling a paid plan
Plans are month to month. You manage or cancel yours any time from the upgrade page in your dashboard, and your listing stays up for free when a plan ends.
Paid plans on Repairs.company are month to month. There is no long-term commitment, and you can cancel any time.
Where to manage your plan
Sign in and go to the upgrade page in your owner's dashboard, /dashboard/upgrade. That is where you choose a plan and where you cancel one.
Moving to a different plan
The three plans are Verified ($9/month), Featured ($39/month) and Top Spot ($99/month). Each one places your listing at a different level on the pages you appear on; see Plans and pricing for exactly what each includes.
Before you change, it is worth thinking about where your customers find you. If most of them come through your town and repair pages, the plan's position on those pages is what matters. If they also browse by kind of repair, every plan also places you ahead of free listings on your category pages, highest plan first.
A listing has one plan at a time, so you are never billed for two. To move to a different plan, cancel your current one first, then choose the new plan on the same page. If anything about a change isn't clear, contact us before you make it.
Canceling
- Go to /dashboard/upgrade.
- Cancel your current plan.
A canceled plan carries on until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken.
What happens when a plan ends
- Your listing stays up. Listing is free, so ending a plan doesn't remove you from the directory.
- A lapsed plan stops ranking. Your listing goes back into the ordering by distance from the town and then by rating, like any other free listing.
- The plan's label no longer shows, and the plan's extras, such as full statistics, no longer apply.
- Your reviews stay where they are. Plans never affected them, because nobody can pay to change a review or rating.
Keeping your free listing useful
Whatever plan you are on, the things that help customers most cost nothing: accurate hours and phone number, the right repair categories, a service area that matches where you really work, and replies to your reviews. See List your repair business and Getting reviews and replying to them.
