How Repairs.company works

Repairs.company is a directory of repair businesses organized by what they fix and the towns they serve. Here is how to find one, and what we do and don't do.

Using Repairs.company · Updated Nov 2, 2026

Repairs.company is a directory of repair businesses in the United States. It is built around two questions: what needs fixing, and where you are.

Finding a repair business

  1. Start on the homepage. Type what needs fixing, such as "dryer" or "water heater", and your ZIP code or town. You can also search at Find or browse by state from Locations.
  2. You'll land on a page for your town, or on the page for that repair in your town.
  3. Narrow the list with the filters if you like: businesses that come to you, take drop-offs, offer pickup and delivery, offer same-day service, give free estimates or offer a warranty on repairs, and whether they work on homes or businesses.
  4. Read the listings and reviews, then contact a business directly using the phone number or website on its listing.

Browsing by kind of repair

Each of the 40 kinds of repair has a category page, such as Appliance Repair, Auto Repair or Phone & Tablet Repair. Each kind of repair has specialties too, so appliance repair includes refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher and oven repair. You can also browse every listing from the directory.

Why a business from the next town might appear

Every business sets the area it serves: a radius in miles around where it is based, plus any extra towns, ZIP codes or counties it names. It appears on the page of every town inside that area, and on that town's page for each repair it offers. So a business based a few towns away can show up on your town's page if it says it covers you.

What we don't do

Repairs.company is only a directory. We don't carry out repairs, set prices, take bookings or handle payments between you and a business, and we don't guarantee any business. There is no booking fee. Prices, timing and the work itself are agreed between you and the business you choose.

Some listings carry a plan label such as "Verified". That means the business pays for one of our plans. It is not a check of licenses, insurance, certifications or the quality of the work.
